A Real Wrestling Room Inside a Jiu Jitsu School
Most martial arts gyms treat wrestling as an afterthought, a few takedowns sprinkled into an MMA class. Most youth wrestling clubs only run during the school season and cap out when the season ends.
10th Planet Mission Viejo is different. Wrestling is its own program here, year-round, with two levels (Beginner and Advanced) and a head coach with NCAA Division I and college coaching credentials. Pair that with our jiu jitsu program in the same room and your kid is training the two highest-leverage grappling arts under one roof. That combination is unique in South Orange County.
Two Levels: Beginner and Advanced
Beginner Youth Wrestling
For kids who are new to wrestling. Stance, motion, level changes, and the basic takedowns. Built to give your kid a real foundation while keeping the room fun and competitive.
Ages: 8-12 years
Advanced Youth Wrestling
For kids with prior wrestling experience or who have moved through the beginner room. Higher pace, more technique depth, and live wrestling. Built for kids who want to compete.

Meet Your Coach: Cashé Quiroga
Cashé Quiroga is a Purdue NCAA Division I wrestler. Four-year varsity, four-year team captain, 6th at the NCAA D1 Championships, 3rd at Big Ten. Olympic Training Center hopeful at Ohio State RTC in 2015 and 2016.
Assistant coach at a D2 program where his team won a conference championship. Currently the KOTC flyweight MMA champion (5-1). He has spent the last decade turning that experience into coaching, and his youth wrestling program at 10PMV is where that work lives now.

Wrestling builds functional strength, body awareness, and mental toughness in a way few other sports can match. It teaches kids how to lose, how to recover, and how to get back to work. The discipline carries into school, into other sports, and into life.
